Quality Management
Participation Policy for Examiners
  1. Individuals who have professional experience of at least 5 years are eligible to participate in the 4 day Certified Examiner for Quality Management program.
  2. Participants to the CEQM program are assessed on the basis of quiz, subjective paper and attitudinal skills.
  3. Successful completion of this training program allows one to join on the Board of Examiners for the current cyle of the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award. The certification is valid for one year.
  4. Examiners who are invited to participate in the next cycle will have to go through a 2 day / 1 day Refresher Course for Returning examiners. 
  5. The evaluation for Returning Examiner is based on subjective paper/ presentation skills/ interactions, etc. The certification is valid for one year.
  6. The performance of each examiner – both new and returning - is evaluated not only during the training program but also during the entire assessment process. The parameters for evaluation include depth of knowledge, domain expertise, behaviour during the process, interactive skills during the site visit, timely submission of reports, team interaction and report writing skills.
  7. The evaluation of examiners during the assessment process is carried out by Applicant organization, at the peer level (both team leader and amongst members) and by IMC facilitators.
  8. Every Examiner will have to adhere to a strict code of ethics and carry out their responsibilities with a just and fair mind.
  9. The  evaluations form the basis for extending invitation to participate in the Refresher Course for Returning Examiners and become eligible to join on the Board of Examiners for the next cycle.
  10. Examiners who have not attended training programs for more than three years are not eligible to participate in the Refresher course for Returning Examiners. They will have to once again go through the  4 day CEQM training program and get recertified.
